Midday Assistant
5 hours a week - term time only

The Governors of Croft Primary School wish to appoint a committed, highly motivated, dedicated and caring person to join our team of Midday Assistants, supervising children from Nursery to Year 6 during lunchtime.
Responsible to: Head Teacher, Deputy Head and Midday Supervisor
Duties will include:
- acting as an excellent role model for the children
- promoting the school’s values.
- encouraging the children to develop their personal and social skills through modelled play and promote excellent behaviour at all times.
- interacting with the children and using your initiative to organise activities will be required.
On occasions you will be required to attend Midday Assistant meetings and training.
There is an expectation to adhere to all school policies especially those relating to behaviour, safeguarding, Health and Safety, Equal Opportunities and confidentiality. We are a fully inclusive school and therefore, the successful candidate will be able to competently rise to any challenges which may be encountered with the support of a Midday Supervisor. The successful candidate will also be given the opportunity to work within a great team of people and receive high quality training.

Start date: Between January 25 and February 25
Position required: Level 3 Apprentice Early Years Educator – 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Hours will be between 7.30am and 6.00pm
The Governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Level 3 Apprentice Early Years Educator to join our friendly and experienced school.
We are looking for someone who:
- Will work well as part of a team, closely partnering with other members of staff to provide a stimulating learning environment;

- Has excellent communication skills and the ability to work under direction.

The ideal candidate will:

- Hold GCSE English and Maths at grades A – C/9 - 4
